Kawartha Trans Canada Trail Passport App x CED

The Kawartha Lakes CFDC is proud to have contributed essential funds towards the development of the Kawartha Trans Canada Trail Passport App through our Community Economic Development fund.

The KTCT Trail Passport app promotes trail use and visits to participating businesses along the trail route by inviting users to unlock locations to receive discounts and become eligible for prizes. Working in collaboration with retail partners, visitors can scan QR codes at participating establishments to access business pages.

We are thrilled to have supported this program focused on bringing trail users into our communities and downtowns. We encourage local businesses of all sizes to participate in the program to increase foot traffic to their stores, promote trail use, and build community connections. This type of innovative idea to improve our local economy is exactly what we’re hoping to achieve through the CED fund.

- Vince Killen, Executive Director, KL CFDC

The app is launching in November 2022. Businesses interested in setting up a profile can access the business submission form here: https://ktct.ca/passport-form/
